Info from Abbott

Hi. I finally got webspace of my own! Unforturnately, I'm not going to have internet access for a bit and GPAU is going to have to be put on hold until I do, but as soon as I can, I will start posting comics and news updates. Until then, I'm going to repost all of the old GPAU comics here, so not only can they be in this archive, but then I can start this page off with a zing! Ciao for now!

Due to bad illness, Nocturn is unable to do a comic this week. I should have a comic released, and hopefully Ziddar will have one out, too.

Sorry to all of you that were upset about the lack of friday comic, but I was uninspired, and not in the best of health as well. However, I aim to please, so I did finally get it done and it is in the archives. That said, I am pleased to report that Nocturn is doing rather well, but there are still months of recovery left to go. Well, Abbott signing off... ;)

Hello, it's me, Abbott, again... I've been away for some time, for better or worse, but I've been watching over the Gamer's Paradox world, and I'm back and ready to do anything to satisfy you.... Well, not really anything; just doing comic work and all that, but it sounded good when I typed it. Anyways, what with the GP world having different parts now, and with all the confusion that had ensued with all that, some of the participants were found rather... lacking. So, others had to pick up the slack, and things were rough. But now that I'm back, I'm going to jump back into my duties as an Author here at GP, and that means GPAU is now mine to control. At least until all the madness dies down around here, and then, who knows?... However, since there is sooo much madness, and since I need to acquaint myself with the nuances of running GPAU, the first few comics will be more random than anything. Hopefully, they are still pleasing to you, but you can bet we'll be rolling on the floor laughing every time we look at it. How long is it going to be random, you ask? Well, the nature of chaos is that its unpredictable. Therefore, I can't really say how long it will take to get it to acceptable levels. Luckily, GPAU isn't put out every day, so it shouldn't take more than a few weeks at most. Then it's back to your regularly scheduled not-so-random insanity, albeit now with an Abbott twist. Thank you and have a mushy banana.

You know, I haven't updated in a while, and I feel really bad about that. In my defense, I've been through a lot in the past few months...

Cool stuff happening now. Spieler has moved up the ranks through freaky mind control techniques... I knew you were wondering. Actually, he really is a good idea man, and you're bound to hear more from him in the coming weeks. I will also be playing a more active role, not only in comic production, but in site maintenance as well.

I would love to hear your questions/comments about everything Gamer's Paradox (Yes I am the more social one).

Hey Everybody! Sorry again for not updating, but you know how it is with news...

A lot of stuff has been happenning in a short amount of time here, and not all of it has been that good... :-( But, what are you going to do, that's life. Anyways, I'm not one to dwell on the negative, so I'm just going to say: Enjoy the comic! We've got some great stuff coming up for you folks, and I'm sure you'll love it. By the way, We'd love to hear some feedback from our faithful (or faithless for that matter) -- Tell us why you love, or hate, or express apathy towards, our comic. It's your opinion that matters to our comic.

With all that aside, I will let you read the comic, and Happy Smashing! (Melee, that is)

Happy Thanksgiving, Everybody! Hope your enjoying your GameCubes! I know I love it.

P.S. Only 12 more days until Super Smash Bros. Melee!!!

11/7/2001

Hey everybody!!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I've been busy (and lazy). I have been working on the comic with Nocturn, however. I can't wait for the Game Cube as well. It looks so cool! That song is, um well, uh, strange. But, isn't that what we're all about?

(Keep in mind this is all referring to Nocturn's post for today)

I was right about the war, and it's all proceding as I planned..., er... I mean predicted. Heh heh, just a slip. We are going to win, and hopefully those terrorist bastards will get the hint. Terror doesn't pay.

Hopefully I'll be updating more frequently after Christmas. See you next time, and ENJOY!!!

Although my good friend Nocturn may sound a little extreme today (he does to me), I do believe there is a war coming up. However, I do not believe it will end in the destruction of the U.S. But, you better be careful to pay attention to what happens, because if it's something bad, you better be prepared.

On a lighter note, our comic seems to be progressing nicely. If you think that it is plain and poorly done, that is because you haven't seen what's coming next... besides the fact that we aren't the best of artists. Yes, we admit it, but that doesn't mean we've accepted it. We strive to ever-reaching heights! (Or something like that...)

I'm sorry I can't update more often, but I work a lot and don't seem to get to it as often as I'd like. That's also why my updates are so long. Don't worry, I'll eventually get to a more regular pattern.

Welcome All! Unfortunately, our opening day happened to coincide with the day after a great tragedy befell the United States. Our team here at Gamer's Paradox would like to offer our condolences to the families that were affected by the crashes yesterday. We call for the government to quickly find out who is responsible for this and immediately take action. This has to be stopped!

However, when the crisis is over, by all means enjoy our comic!
